The Formech FMDH 660 machine is semi-automatic double deck, multizone vacuum forming machine. This expansion of heating zones makes it easy and quick to use the various plastics and complex thermoplastics. Various simple and complex industrial applications can be
The FMDH 660 is an economical solution for production testing and quality control of extrusion manufacturers. With the Formech FMDH, the materials can even be tested with a thickness of 10 mm.
Formech’s FMDH has minimal floor space and provides a cost effective solution for extrusion manufacturers to test the stretching capabilities of materials up to 10mm thick.
Two multi-zone heaters provide powerful performance and consistent results with the most demanding materials. With the molding capabilities of much larger industrial production machines, the FMDH660 is the perfect machine for testing and pilot production of design concepts, prototyping and pre-production runs with a wide range of materials and applications from small batch and part production.

7 “Color HMI / PLC Interface with memory function and Formech Cycle View (FCV)
The 7 “Wago control system with color display allows for real time adjustments, choice of heating increase per 1% accurate, Formech Cycle View and with 40 programmable pre-sets settings from memory.
Twin Heaters
Top and bottom heating to form complex and demanding materials and to reduce production cycle times (6 zones top heating, 6 zones bottom heating).
Ceramic Heaters
Ceramic heating elements are very well suited for production with high volumes. When the elements are switched on for a long time and a constant temperature has to be maintained, the ceramic elements are better than the quartz.
Electric Heater Drive
Electric powered heating path for easy operation. Controlled heating speed and cooling prevent damage to ceramic elements.
Pre-Stretch function
The pre-stretch is a pre-stretch function for the plastic sheet that the user can pump into the heated thermoplastic sheet by means of air, creating an air ball. This prevents the material from becoming thinner in various places during deeper drafts due to the more evenly distributed plastic.
Auto-Level
Prevents sagging of material during the heating cycle and keeps an equal distance between confusing elements and the plate. The user is given an audible indication tone indicating that the material is ready to form.
6 independently adjustable heating zones per heating deck
The 6 heating zones of the quartz elements provide fast heating with various temperature options on various zones for the challenging shapes and materials.
Power Table
Heavy tabletop with electric control by two buttons that do not separately activate the table control for safety reasons. This very easy to operate table top can also carry heavier tools made of, for example, milled aluminum.
Vacuum & Release
After molding, cooled air can be charged between the mold and the formed plastic. This helps the easy release of the plate and the model.
Vacuum Gauge
A visual indication of consistent vacuum pressure in Hg / bar. Dry vane pump 16m3 / hour Oil free and requires minimal maintenance

Reducing Windows
Reduce frames that narrow the molding area to use smaller material sheets. This reduces the use of plastic panels.
standard sizes and custom sizes.
Cooling Fan System
A system to allow the drawn sheet material to cool faster for a shorter production cycle.
Reel Feed system
Assembly reel system for mounting on the machine. Thermoplastic on a roll can be used on this reel.
Heating Pyrometer
The Heating Pyrometer is a sensor that provides a digital readout of the heat on the plate material. This accurate measurement is measured with infrared and transmitted to the machine. On larger models than the Formech 686 and 1572, the sensor also passes the information on to the heating elements.
Cooling Bolster
The Cooling Bolster is a water-cooled plate to directly cool the aluminum tools and to regulate the temperature. This generates a faster and more consistent production cycle.
Vacuum Flow Regulator
The Vacuum air flow regulator controls the vacuum flows exactly when they are required in simple or very complex models and applications.
Starter Pack of Plastic
A starter package of sheet material of various plastics (HIPS, ABS, PETG) specially made on the machine you purchase.
Multi User Pin Access Control
The designated supervisor of the machine can enable various levels for different operator access levels.
Spare parts kit
A package of parts that are easy to replace, such as sealing strips. elements, filter, clauses fuses.
Pneumatic Trigger Clamps
Pneumatic clamps for an easy and fast production cycle with removal and replacement of plates.
Quartz Heaters with Variable Standby
Quartz elements with variable standby for a fast response and efficient for time and energy savings
