SynTec Form 2K

The Syntec Form 2K is a mixing and dispensing machine for processing two-component RTV (room-temperature-curing polymers) casting materials such as polyurethane product (resin and rubbers), silicone materials, epoxy resins, adhesive systems, and other two-component system.

The Form 2K can process two-component materials with mixing ratios ranging from 100:1 to 100:100, in increments of 1. The Form 2K is supplied as standard as a mobile trolley-mount machine, but is also optionally available as a desktop model.

The Form 2K is designed for the precise processing of small production volumes and large-volume castings. The machine can be configured via PLC control panel, with an output ranging from 5 to 1000 ml per minute. The machines are supplied as standard with 5-liter tanks for both components, but can optionally be configured with smaller tanks from 500 ml up to larger tanks of 10 liters. This can be tailored to your application or product.

Thanks to the pneumatic operation, materials with viscosities of up to 30,000 mPa·s can be processed. An external compressed-air connection is therefore required to operate the machine. The air pressure is typically regulated at 6–8 bar, with a minimum input pressure of 8 bar required.

Even in its basic version, the machine offers the necessary level of automation, making it easy to adjust the operating parameters required for production processing and to quickly reconfigure the machine when switching from one material to another. These settings can be stored in the programmable control software, allowing multiple material configurations to be saved.

By using the static mixing gun in combination with static mixers, various output options can be configured. These include continuous output or a start function with automatic stop at the desired quantity.
The tanks can optionally be heated if required for ISO and Poly products. If the materials need to be maintained at operating temperatures, this is possible. PLEASE NOTE: the machine is not suitable for hot-casting applications. For these applications, we offer our hot-casting systems.
The machine is compatible with static mixers. Standard static mixers from well-known brands such as SULZER can be used. The machine comes standard with a “clean & flush” function for cleaning the static mixers. This allows the static mixers to be used for longer if desired. Various cleaning solvents can be used, subject to prior approval. The cleaning solvents are stored in a small tank inside the machine as standard.

The machine is not suitable for HTV – hot-casting materials, polyurethane foams, or silicone foams. For these applications, we offer hot-casting machines and foam systems. We also provide solutions for processing in production lines, laboratory setups, robotic solutions, and, where required, customized solutions according to customer specifications.
